We regularly support numerous local associations, organisations and individuals in the fields of sport, culture and art through donations and sponsorships. We regularly participate in various joint activities with educational institutions and humanitarian organisations. At the same time, we devote constant attention to our colleagues and employees. Among the practices and measures with which Surovina effectively fulfils its social role within the company are:
- actively enabling and encouraging the freedom of association of workers, collective bargaining and the effective functioning of the works council, workers' trade unions and interest groups;
- establishing measures to prevent violence, harassment and other harmful effects in the workplace;
- measures for equal participation of women and men in the company, ensuring equal opportunities for all employees and consistent implementation of labour law; the company's code of ethics, which ensures consistent respect for human rights and non-discrimination;
- measures for health protection and promoting a healthy lifestyle and safety at work;
- actively encouraging continuous learning, education and training of employees;
- various activities for employees and care for good interpersonal relations (annual picnic, New Year gatherings, exercise opportunities, healthy breakfast at the company, etc.).
