Among the measures we take to ensure that we are always in step with the best sustainability practices are:
- operating on the basis of modern environmental knowledge and practices and principles that increase the potential of a circular business model;
- regular investments in modern technologies and equipment with which we achieve higher rates of waste recycling and other best available technology (BAT) procedures;
- obtaining recycled raw materials from waste, thereby preserving natural resources; implementation of systems and practices to reduce water consumption and wastewater volumes;
- continuous improvement of practices and the share of recycled waste;
- measures to reduce the risks of harmful events and negative environmental impacts (advanced fire protection, etc.);
- digitalisation of services (ordering waste collection, digital contracting, etc.) and internal processes, thereby reducing the carbon footprint of our company; inclusion of environmental sustainability criteria in the selection and evaluation of suppliers; advising business partners on the most economically and environmentally efficient systems for separate waste collection and reducing their carbon footprint in the waste management segment;
- the NORD project, which with the most advanced logistics and optimisation significantly reduces the number of waste collections required, thus effectively reducing CO2 emissions.
